Maxi dresses have always been a summer staple for at least three reasons:
1. Comfy and stylish;
2. Make you look tall and thin;
3. Easy to throw on and accessorize for most summer occasions.
What used to be a style and design rule for the maxis, such as flat shoes, classic A-lines or strapless, is just a tiny part of the maxi trend nowadays. The one I’m wearing in this post is from Michael Kors. The floral print and long sleeve style with a leather belt makes the maxi a bit more dressier, in which case, the pair of studded high heel sandal works better than flat ones. The double-zip tote from Tory Burch Robinson collection is a great work-to-weekend style. It’s similar to Prada but you get the same look and quality for “less”.
My new “toy” is the recently released Apple Watch. I’ve had it only for a few days and I’m not sure how I feel about it as a watch. I do like some of its features such as taking phone calls, tracking daily activities, etc. But so far, it’s more like a trendy accessory to me than a tech product. For that purpose, I’m glad that I purchased a stainless steel case with a white sport band. The modern appearance of the sport band just fits everything!
